Suniel Shetty reveals his marriage advice to Athiya, KL Rahul; calls Ahan's girlfriend Tania his ‘first love’

Suniel Shetty talked about his marriage advice to Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, and remembered his first impression of Rahul and Tania Shroff, Ahan's girlfriend.

Actor Suniel Shetty has spoken about the advice, from his marriage with Mana Shetty, that he passed on to their daughter-actor Athiya Shetty and her husband-cricketer KL Rahul. In a new interview, Suniel also praised his son-actor Ahan Shetty's girlfriend Tania Shroff and KL Rahul, while calling them 'my love'. He also recalled his first impression of KL Rahul and Tania. Suniel tied the knot with Mana in 1991. They have two children--daughter Athiya and son Ahan. While Athiya Shetty was born in 1992, the couple welcomed Ahan in 1995. Ahan Shetty is currently in a relationship with Tania and Athiya married KL Rahul earlier this year.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Suniel talked about his marriage advice to Athiya and KL Rahul, "Belief, faith in each other, space for each other, there for each other. (Gesturing holding hands) can't separate, I need Mana like this, my hand always goes...Athiya sometimes asks me, 'Where is your...?' If I go to her house alone and mom is not there, she asks, 'Where is your (gestures holding hand)?' Because I look for her in parties, I don't know why but you know, it's just believing in each other."

Talking about KL Rahul and Tania, Suniel said, "Both the bachchas (kids)? My babies, my love, my first love. Tanya is my first love. They are so simple and their family, they just fitted in so beautifully." Suniel also called Athiya the 'harshest critic and 'bossy'.

Athiya married KL Rahul on January 23, 2023, at Suniel's farmhouse in Lonavala. After the wedding, Suniel spoke to photographers and thanked them for their blessings. Suniel also revealed that the couple's wedding reception will be held after the IPL season.

Both Athiya and Ahan have made their acting debuts a few years ago. Athiya's first film was Hero (2015) and Ahan made his debut with Sajid Nadiadwala's film Tadap (2021), the Hindi remake of the Telugu film RX 100.

Suniel will be seen in the upcoming action-thriller web series, Hunter. It is all set to stream on Amazon Mini Tv from March 22. Directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, it also stars Esha Deol, Rahul Dev, Barkha Bisht, Mihir Ahuja, Teena Singh among others.
