Sunny Kaushal sends 'tight hugs' to rumoured girlfriend Sharvari Wagh for her IIFA Award win: 'Couldn't be prouder'

Actor Vicky Kaushal's brother Sunny Kaushal shared a picture of his rumoured girlfriend, actor Sharvari Wagh on his Instagram Stories. Sharing the picture, which was from International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, Sunny wrote that he ‘couldn't be prouder Sharu.’ In the picture, Sharvari is seen receiving her award for her performance in Bun. Sharing a picture of Sharvari on his Stories, which was originally posted by IIFA's Instagram handle, he wrote, “Couldn't be prouder Sharu. You deserve this and so so so much more. Congratulations Sharvari. Big tight hug.” He also added a heart emoji and a ‘Yaas Gurl’ sticker.
At the IIFA 2022, Sharvari won the award in the Star Debut of the Year – Female category for her film Bunty Aur Babli 2. The film also starred Siddhant Chaturvedi, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji.
Sharvari and Sunny have been spotted together by the paparazzi a few times. She also attended his brother Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's close-knit wedding at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, last year. But in an interview, she has said that they are just ‘good friends’.
Last year, in an interviewith India.com, Sharvari said, “Sunny and I have worked on The Forgotten Army together. This was four years back. We really became very good friends and we have stayed friends for over the last four years. Kabir (Kabir Khan) sir was there, I was there and he was there… we all have become such good friends for so long now.”
“Honestly, the rumours are ‘very rumoured’ and I would say these are only ‘rumours’. At the end of the day, when you make such close friends, you can’t shy away (from the bonding). Things coming out as articles don’t mean you would stop living. These are the friends that I have made in the industry and I had to be there for them,” she added.
