Vishal Aditya Singh reveals why he calls Shweta Tiwari 'momma': 'I'd flirt with her, she'd scold me'
Khatron Ke Khiladi contestant Vishal Aditya Singh has said that he used to flirt with Shweta Tiwari back in the day, but after she began playing his mother on a show, he started calling her 'momma'.
Vishal Aditya Singh and Shweta Tiwari's photos from the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi kept fans entertained even before the show's premiere on Saturday. Vishal has now revealed why he addressed Shweta as 'momma'.
In an interview, Vishal Aditya Singh said that Shweta Tiwari played his mother on a show once, and that he has 'always been in awe of her beauty'.
He told a leading daily, "Shweta Tiwari is a great co-actor and friend. I have always been in awe of her beauty. When we had shot for our TV show Begusarai (2015), I would flirt with her innocently and she used to scold me and laugh it off. She used to say, 'Chal bhag, you are a kid'. I respect her and her vast body of work. She used to play my bhabhi in the show and after a leap, she played my mother, so I started calling her momma. And ever since, I have called her that.”
Shweta previously said that everyone on the Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 set calls her 'mumma'. She shared a video of her interaction with a makeup man, in which she said to him, "So you promise you will make me look prettier?" He responded with, "Oh yes, mumma!" The actor then looks at the camera and said, "So, by the way, if you guys do not know. My nickname."
Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 premiered on July 17. Hosted by Rohit Shetty, the show features contestants Arjun Bijlani, Abhinav Shukla, Divyanka Tripathi, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Mahek Chahal, Anushka Sen, Sana Makbul, Nikki Tamboli, Varun Sood and singers Rahul Vaidya and Aastha Gill .
