I would love to have kids: Avril Lavigne

Canadian-French singer Avril Lavigne says she is focusing on her career for now, but would definitely want to become a mother some time soon. The 29-year-old singer is married to Nickelback rocker Chad Kroeger.

Singer Avril Lavigne says she would love to have children in the near future. Lavigne, 29, who is married to Nickelback rocker Chad Kroeger, said she is definitely going to enjoy motherhood.

“I’m really focused on my career at the moment. Down the road, I would love to be a mom, but not right now,” she says.

The Canadian-French singer thinks it is crazy to turn 30 in September. “I feel young, but yeah, I’ve lived a lot. I’ve been doing this music career for over a decade and travelling non-stop. It’s kind of crazy. I don’t have a plan yet (for my 30th birthday). But I’m hoping for a big party,” she says.
