L2 Empuraan sequel L3's title revealed: Know all about the Mohanlal-Prithviraj Sukumaran film

L2 Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, was released in theatres on Thursday. The film, a sequel to their hit 2019 film Lucifer, received mixed reviews, but fans are already excited for the next part in the trilogy. L2 Empuraan sequel L3’s title revealed

*Spoilers ahead* Numerous social media users posted some spoilers from the film, including the fact that the sequel to L2 Empuraan has been titled L3 The Beginning. An X (formerly Twitter) even posted a picture of the sequel’s logo on his page. While some responded to the post asking him to delete the spoiler, others wondered if a fourth part would also be made. However, Prithviraj maintained during the film’s promotions that the Lucifer film series would be a trilogy.

What to expect from L3 The Beginning

A Pinkvilla report states that L3 The Beginning is set to take the audience deeper into the world of power inhabited by Mohanlal’s Stephen Nedumpally, aka Khureshi Ab’raam. A new antagonist and a Chinese gang, was also introduced at the end of L2 Empuraan. The sequel is expected to show their role in shaping global crime networks and take forward the story of Lucifer.

L2 Empuraan continues to explore the story of Kerala’s political landscape, picking up five years after the events of Lucifer. Apart from Mohanlal and Prithviraj, the sequel stars Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jerome Flynn, Nikhat Khan Hegde, and others in key roles. The film brings back Stephen to solve a new political issue while exploring more of his and Prithviraj’s character, Zayeed Masood’s backstories. The film is expected to have a good opening and perform well over the weekend.
