Karan Kundrra pauses press conference for azaan, fans praise him for it. Watch

Fans are showering Karan Kundrra with praise for pausing his press conference when he heard azaan. Check out the video.

Actor Karan Kundrra was recently promoting his upcoming show Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal when he paused his own press conference for a few minutes after hearing the azaan. (Also read: Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra give a tour of their new Dubai home. Watch)

In a video that surfaced online, Karan is seen talking about being mesmerised during the shooting when he is interrupted by co-star Reem Sameer Shaikh who notices the azaan sounding somewhere close. Karan then said, "Should we just pause for a bit. Azaan, azaan ke liye? Do minute bus (for the azaan, just two minutes)." They were then seen staying silent for some time.

The video also showed Karan touching his chest when someone told him off stage that it was a great gesture to pause when he heard the azaan. The post was flooded with comments praising the actor.

One of the comments read, “If everyone respect each others religion World will be very peaceful.” Another one wrote, “As a Hindu hoke Muslim culture ki respect karna baut badi baat hoti hai jitna acha sakal and handsome hai utna hi dil ka saaf hai banda god bless u may your all dream fulfil.”

Ishq Me Ghayal also features Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Shaikh. The promo of the show Karan essays the role of a werewolf named Veer. The show premieres on Colors TV on February 13.

Talking about the show, Karan had said at the press conference, “The kind of locations we shot in, and the layers that our characters have..the magic, passion and love that is there in the world where the story is set, that is something you cannot ignore.” He also said, smiling, that Gashmeer and he play werewolf brothers while Reem is a woman and they are all part of a triangle love story.

Prior to the show, Karan was seen in several music videos over the past few months. Over the past 14 years, he has worked in films as well as fictional and reality TV shows. He also appeared as the "jailor" on Kangana Ranaut's reality show Lock Upp. Earlier in 2022, he also hosted the Colors TV show Dance Deewane Juniors.
