Rupali Ganguly reacts to complaints about her long Anupamaa monologues: 'I will stand by my maker's vision'

Rupali Ganguly reacted to her fans complaining about her lengthy and repetitive dialogues in the TV show Anupamaa. She said she would stand by Rajan Shahi's vision regarding the show.

Rupali Ganguly reacted to her fans complaining about her lengthy and repetitive monologues in the TV show Anupamaa. She said she would trust the makers of the show and would stand by them no matter what. She also said that she would respect the vision of the producer Ranjan Shahi, in an interview.

Rupali Ganguly plays the role of Anupamaa Shah in Anupamaa.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, she expressed her opinions on fans complaining about her lengthy lines in the show and said, "Fans ki baatein sar aankhon par (I will always keep my fans' concerns at the top). My makers know very well what they are trying to convey through Anupamaa. Whatever his (producer Rajan Shahi's) vision, I will try and do it with my utmost conviction and portray whatever he has visualised for Anupamaa to do. I will do it with my utmost capability and abilities."

She spoke about her producer and said, "I have never questioned him 'aisa kyun, vaisa kyun?' (Why this, why not that). If he believes in it, I believe in it. With due respect to everybody, Anupamaa is a story that Rajan wanted to tell and I am glad that people connected to his characters, and his story-telling. So whatever scenes he writes, whatever things he has decided for Anupamaa to do, it is totally his call. I am sure he does have a vision for anything that is happening in Anupamaa and I go completely with it. I will never question him and I do not have a take on any of my scenes. I love everything happening in Anupamaa and I will stand by it no matter what."

Rupali rose to fame as Monisha Sarabhai in the TV Show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. She has also starred in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. Currently, she is playing the lead role of a Gujarati homemaker on the television show Anupamaa, which airs on Star Plus.
