The South Central Railway (SCR) has suspended the concerned Ticket Checker after an unauthorised decorator was allowed into a First AC coach of the Nandigram Express to decorate a private coupe for a travelling couple.
The action came after a video of the lavishly decorated First AC cabin went viral on social media, triggering widespread reactions.
The visuals, recorded inside Train No. 110002 Nandedgram Express, show the private compartment covered with balloons, floral decorations and thousands of rose petals, with an "I Love You" message displayed on the wall.

The elaborate decoration gave the cabin the appearance of a honeymoon suite, drawing widespread attention online as the train continued its journey.

The viral clip quickly split opinion among social media users. Many praised the gesture, describing it as a thoughtful and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion. Several users appreciated the effort that had gone into transforming the railway compartment into a romantic setting.

Others, however, questioned whether passengers are permitted to decorate railway coaches in such an elaborate manner.

Some users questioned whether decorative items such as balloons, flowers and paper decorations could create fire hazards or violate railway guidelines. Others raised issues related to cleanliness and whether such decorations should be allowed inside coaches while the train is in service.
