A 28-year-old air hostess with a private airline was found dead, allegedly by suicide, at her rented flat in Rajendranagar in Hyderabad, police said on Tuesday.

The woman, originally from Jammu, was found hanging in her room on October 24 by her flatmate and colleagues after they had reportedly partied together at the apartment earlier, police said.

A case has been registered on a complaint filed by her mother, and further investigation is underway, news agency PTI quoted a police as saying.
