Dabholkar murder case: Virendra Tawde’s CBI custody extended till June 20

CBI counsel BP Raju, while seeking Tawde’s custody, argued that investigators need to trace other five suspects, the name of whom agency handed over to the court.

Defence counsel Sanjeev Punalekar while opposing the CBI plea said that Tawade has already been interrogated by the central agency and he does not need to be re-interrogated.

Tawade, an ENT specialist, was arrested on Friday, around three years after Dabholkar was shot dead by two unidentified men on near Omkareshwar temple in Pune.
