"All options should be explored to fight the Maoists administratively and politically with full vigour and strength," CPI (M) politburo member Brinda Karat told reporters here when asked if army should be used in operations against Maoists.
On 'Operation Green Hunt', she said, "I don't know what 'Green Hunt' is all about, but a lasting solution to the problem threatening the country's internal security should be found."
"The Centre and state governments should work in tandem in the offensive against Maoists, whose isms and objectives have taken a backseat and who don't follow either Marxism or Maoism," she said.
