Disputes break out over water
AN UNIDENTIFIED person mixed red colour and poured alcohol into the public water storage tank at Yadav Nandnagar today. The residents had a rude surprise when they saw red-coloured water coming out of their taps. Upon investigation it was found that the water in the large tank had become unfit for consumption because of the colour mixed in it.

A strange smell was also emanating from the water and it was found that a number of empty alcohol bottles were lying inside.
The locals believe it to be the handiwork of either some lunatic or drunkard. However, as the place witnesses frequent clashes over filling water from the tank the possibility of someone committing this deranged act has not been ruled out. In another incident two neighbours clashed over filling water from a community boring well.
They exchanged blows using sticks and swords following, which the police had to be called in to settle the dispute and disengage the warring parties.
According to the MIG police the incident occurred late last when Rajesh Rathore and his neighbours Vijay and Ramu had a heated argument night over filling water.
The argument soon turned into a conflict with the two neighbours attacking Rajesh with sticks and swords. Mukesh a friend of Rajesh joined in from his side and counter attacked with a staff inflicting serious injuries to Vijay in the process. The police have registered counter complaints against both sides.
