Lt Col Tejinder Singh, who runs a training institute in Kondhva area, was arrested last night. He is accused of misbehaving with the Class IX student who was attending his tuition class, according to a complaint filed by her parents.

The matter came to light when the girl refused to go to tuition for the abacus maths examination, police said.

48-year-old Singh has been charged under section 354 of IPC (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty).
