Terrorists on Monday fired a rifle grenade at a polling booth in Badgam district of Jammu and Kashmir which missed the target and exploded in a house injuring a girl, officials said.

The device exploded in the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, adjacent to Yachgam high school where polling was in progress, injuring his 18-year old daughter Naza Bano.
Bano received several splinter injuries and was admitted to hospital, they said.
Polling was disrupted at the booth for sometime as the blast triggered panic among the voters who ran helter-skelter.
