"The expansion will be carried out very soon," Koda told newsmen.

Koda, who took oath on September 18 along with three others, has now eight ministers. He needs to add four ministers to fulfil the constitutional obligation.

Koda is heading the UPA coalition in the 82-member house after unseating the BJP-led NDA government earlier this month.
