Tripathi said various irregularities had been detected in promotion and transfer of teachers. Even women teachers had been transferred to remote areas, violating the directive of the State government in this regard. Tripathi said the transfer of teachers after the age of 50 years was also in violation of rules.
He said though the association had invited the attention of the Education officials over the irregularities, but BSA was not ready to negotiate with the association members. This was the reason why they had decided to launch an indefinite dharna at the BSA office.
He said block-wise teachers would participate in the dharna. A programme chart had been prepared regarding this.
They also condemned BSA officials for their dilly delaying tactics in verification of the certificates of special BTC teachers and said on August 30 teachers of Chargawan block, on August 31 teachers of Khorabar block, on September 1 teachers of Kauria block, on September 2 teachers of Pipraich block would participate in the dharna.
