THE  BJP state president Keshari Nath Tripathi alleged chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav for violating the election code of conduct. He said that people want to rid off from the misrule of SP led state government. They would express their anger against the government through ballot in the Municipal Corporation and local bodies election.

Keshari was here to participate in election campaign of BJP candidate for mayoral post Anju Chaudhary. While talking to mediapersons, he also raised various questions over the impartial attitude of election commission and pointed out that BJP would move to the court and would file public interest litigation.

Continuing his offensive speech, Tripathi said that the people participation was quite low in the state sponsored programme Kanya Vidya Dhan cheques to the beneficiaries in many district, which has increased the worries of the ruling party.

Tripathi said the distribution of Kanya Vidya Dhan cheques during the civil poll is violation of election code of conduct but state election commission has turned a blind eye to the reality. He said the commission should be transparent in their functioning and should work without any pressure.

Tripathi also addressed a meeting of the advocate cell of BJP and highlighted the role of lawyers in leading the society and ensured the justice to the deprived class.
