Yuvjan Sabha city chief Manoj Kumar Yadav accused the Union Government of hatching a conspiracy to defame the SP-led State Government. They said the import of wheat revealed the UPA Government was safeguarding the interests of multinational companies, instead of poor farmers of the country.

Party leaders Shahid, Praveen Chaudhary and Vikas Yadav said farmers were on the verge of starvation. Farmers had lost faith in the Congress, they added.

Meanwhile, party leaders also organised a meeting and decided to organise camps at block levels in which officers of departments concerned will be present for immediate redress of grievances. The party will organise a camp at Campierganj on July 7, Gola on July 10, Charganwan on July 14 and Bhathat block on July 17 .

National general secretary of SP Chhatra Sabha Ram Briksha Yadav exhorted the party workers to come forward to highlight the achievements of the State Government and counter the attack of Opposition parties.
