The admission procedure at Chaudhari Mahadev Prasad Degree College (CMPDC) has started and more than 10,000 forms have already been sold and with a week remaining the college authorities expect the total form sales to cross 20,000 mark.
The AU has allotted a total of 2780 seats for all three categories to the CMPDC out of which 1870 seats are for BA, 335 seats for B Sc (Zoology), 225 seats for B Sc (Maths) and 350 seats for B Com classes.
According to the college officials at an average around 1000 to 1500 forms are sold daily from the college counters and an increase has been noticed after the declaration of class 12 results of other boards. The forms will be sold without late fee till June 3 and with late fee till June 5. According to college officials if the projected sales of 20,000 forms is attained and if the same number of forms are submitted then with a total of 2780 seats the admissions would definitely be a tough task for students. As per calculation 8 students would vie for one seat in the CMPDC.
