The police have given priority to undercover agents for collecting intelligence inputs during the concert.

CCTV cameras are being closely monitored from the police control room at CBD Belapur.

Extra manpower has been provided at the CCTV command centre for his purpose. The officials will also monitor the cameras attached to the drones.

Police officials have also been deployed at all entry and exit points of the city. They are allowing vehicles to enter the city only after checking their documents.

Special attention is being paid to Vashi and Airoli toll naka and Panvel, the main entry points of the city.

A senior police officer said, “There was no such concert in Navi Mumbai earlier. Along with the venue, every corner of the city is under surveillance.”

Hemant Nagrale, Navi Mumbai police commissioner, said, “While the organisers have engaged private security agencies, the main job of police is to provide overall security and act swiftly in case of any disaster. During the show, plainclothes police personnel will be keeping a watch. A police control room has also been set up at the venue.”
