After salvaging a draw against South Africa, India lost 4-1 to USA in their second game.

Though India played on par with USA in the first two quarters, the United States were simply too strong as goals from Jill Witmer (2) and Taylor West (40’) helped them extend their lead to 3-1.

The final quarter saw USA continue their dominance with a fourth goal in the 49th minute.

India also have World No. 3 Argentina in their group of the Hockey World league Semi-Final, which is also a World Cup Qualifier.
