Free artificial limbs distributed at camp

Bharat Vikas Parishad, Tagore branch, organised a free artificial limbs distribution camp on Sunday. Artificial limbs, calipers, crutches and hearing aid were given to 38 physically disabled people in the camp.

Dr Rajeev Gupta, heart surgeon at Hero DMC Heart Institute, was the chief guest. Parishad secretary Sunita Chatley said this year Tagore branch had organised three camps in which artificial limbs, calipers, crutches and hearing aids were provided to more than 88 physically disabled people.

The branch also organised nasha mukti camp, medical camp, gynae camp, stress management camp and live life 100% camp in different cities of the state. Chief guest appreciated the efforts of Bharat Vikas Parishad in mitigating the sufferings of disabled people.
