Ashok Gehlot says Centre should increase spending on Covid-19 research

Claiming that the US and UK are carrying out Covid-19-related research at a cost of USD 1 billion and 18.5 million pounds, Gehlot said the Union government has allocated only 2,663 crore for health research in budget.

“Under this scheme, valid licensees of Mandi committees as well as non-licensed holders such as retail shops/plot allottees/farmers plot allottees and other allottees of mandi premises will also be eligible to avail this scheme. Under this scheme, on 30 September 2019, the entire outstanding amount can be deposited by December 31, 2020, of 25 per cent interest,” the state government’s release said.
