Axis Bank eyes 10% stake in Go Digit life insurance business: Report

The move comes after India's biggest private lender HDFC Bank said in a stock exchange disclosure last week that it planned to buy a 9.94% stake in Go Digit Life for up to 700 million rupees ($9 million).

Axis Bank profit nearly doubles to 4,125 crore in April-June

Total income of the bank rose to ₹21,727.61 crore during April-June quarter of the current fiscal, compared to ₹19,361.92 crore in the year-ago period, Axis Bank said in a regulatory filing.

Axis to buy Citibank’s India biz for 12,325 crore

Bank to absorb 3,600 staff in the consumer biz of Citi, in deal that may close in a year.

Retail borrowers make the most of recast plan

HDFC Bank Ltd, ICICI Bank Ltd and Axis Bank Ltd collectively implemented retail debt recasts of ₹6,603 crore and just ₹2,109 crore of corporate loans under the scheme.
