Fuel price hike irks trade bodies

HSVP directed to conduct survey of fuel stations to check for permit violations

The directions were given in response to an RTI application filed by Gurugram-based activist Aseem Takyar, who had sought information on whether the HSVP was charging, or receiving, any rent from the commercial establishments being run from the fuel stations.

Two labourers get into tank to clean it in Delhi’s Model Town, die

Police identified the duo as Bittu and Rajiv. They were working under a contractor identified as Pawan, who told police that the two men got into the tank used for storing petrol at around 8.30 pm.
The tank was empty when the two men got inside. They fell unconscious and when rushed to hospital, were pronounced dead, said police.(ANI/Twitter)
