Noida Metro to develop Pari Chowk and Sector 51 as ‘pink’ stations

The two stations were selected from the 21 stations on the Aqua Line that connects Noida to Greater Noida. The details were shared on NMRC’s 5th Foundation Day, which was celebrated on Tuesday at the Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in Noida’s Sector 6.

Parking facilities at six Noida Metro stations to begin by March-end

These stations are — National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), Sector 83, Sector 143, Sector 144, Sector 145 and Sector 146. The NMRC has already started parking facilities at 10 other Metro stations.

With Blue line extension, Metro comes to Indirapuram doorstep

In a bid to improve connectivity, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) connected its Aqua Line with the DMRC’s Blue Line via a walkway and a carriageway dedicated to e-rickshaws. The two lines, which meet at the intersection between sectors 51/52, are connected at the Blue Line’s Sector 52 station and Aqua Line’s Sector 51 station.

Walkway to connect Aqua and Blue lines by end of this month

The NMRC has started construction of the two-metre wide walkway for pedestrians and a five-metre wide pathway for e-rickshaws to ferry passengers between Aqua Line and Blue Line.

Noida playschool fined Rs 5 lakh for advertisements on Metro pillars

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) said on Wednesday that it has filed an FIR against Makoons, a pre-school located in Sector 76, for allegedly putting up advertisement posters on Metro pillars, in violation of the Corporation’s rules.
The NMRC has also imposed a penalty of Rs 5 lakh against the school as this is allegedly the second instance of violation on part of the school.(Sourced)

NMRC Aqua Line likely to be inaugurated on December 25, final inspection begins today

10 institutions including Noida Metro fined for violating pollution control norms

E-rickshaws, feeder buses to bridge last mile connectivity gap on Noida Metro route
