Puneet Vashisht, who was voted out of the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss 9, said the main reason for his elimination was his non-participation in arguments and fights.
“I think the audience of Bigg Boss likes fights and aggression. I could not give them such footage. Whenever there was an argument, I would not get involved. That is why I got voted out. “Fights are not my cup of tea. There are groups in the house and I was not part of any. I preferred to be by myself,” he said after being voted out of the show.
Puneet, who entered the Bigg Boss house as a wild card, could only manage to stay on the show for a week. “Mandanais a double-faced person. She is not genuine at all. When I first entered the show, she was very friendly and she would call me her guru, learn Hindi from me. And then suddenly her behaviour changed. I found it very strange,” the actor said.
The actor also said his stint in the reality TV show may have been short, but it was “sweet and fruitful”. “It was a short stay, but I feel it was enough for me to see the mirror and come out victorious as a human. It was definitely a short, but sweet and very fruitful experience from my perspective,” Puneetsaid. “I came on Bigg Boss with a motive to entertain everyone and add to the madness. It has truly been a learning experience for me and I am glad to have become a part of this how. I think I was unable to strike a connect with the housemates and the audience during my stay inside the house and given it chance I would like to give it a shot once again,” he added.
Puneet said he has no regrets participating on Bigg Boss as it has been a “decently paid shoot” for him. The 39-year-old actor, best known for his appearances in films like Josh and Taal, said he wants actor Aman Verma to win the ninth season of the reality TV show. “Aman is very sorted in the house. He has the right temperament to win the show. I hope he does.”
Prince Narula, Suyyash Rai and Kishwar Merchantare coming out as bullies on the show, but Puneet said they have never rubbed him in the wrong way: “Kishwar knows me from before. So with me they have never done anything like that.”
Bigg Boss 9 hosted by superstar Salman Khan, airs on Colors everyday.
