Actor Neha Dhupia is surely having a great time. That’s because apart from being seen in Vipul Shah’s upcoming Akshay Kumar-Aishwarya starrer, Action Replayy, Dhupia is all set for her first international project — a US television show titled Bollywood Hero.

It is a romantic comedy about an unsuccessful Hollywood actor who tries his luck in the Indian film industry and traces his journey in showbiz. Interestingly, Dhupia will feature alongside Hollywood actor Chris Kattan, who comes to India to live his Bollywood dream.

Neha DhupiaAsk her about how she got the offer in Bollywood Hero, Dhupia says, "It all began around a year back. A friend of mine told me the producers of the series were conducting auditions and hence I decided to give the audition. Luckily, things fell into place."

She adds, “I play the role of Lalima Lakhani who is a typical, high-maintenance actress and loves throwing tantrums. She is very snooty and temperamental, whereas I am absolutely opposite in my real life.”

Ask the 30-year-old — who will be seen playing a dacoit Phas Gaye Re Obama — about the media reports that she was unhappy with the way she has been side lined from the promotions of Action Replayy, as the whole focus is on Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “I respect my producers decision of how they want to promote the film. I’m sure he knows what’s best for the film.”

And what plans of settling down? Any time soon? “I am single right now and have no time for marriage. My brother just got married and I think one wedding in my family is enough (laughs),” signs off the actor.
