Rochelle Rao and I understand and balance each other: Keith Sequeira

Actor Keith Sequeira talks about his relationship with Rochelle Rao, and how shy she was when he proposed to her.

Ever since Keith Sequeria and Rochelle Rao announced their Valentine’s Day engagement, everyone’s been asking them the same question—when’s the D-day? However, Keith points out, there is still time before they finally tie the knot, as both are currently busy with work and want to know each other’s family.

“I am quite traditional that way. But whenever marriage happens I would prefer a destination wedding. But then I believe it’s a girl’s prerogative to choose, so I will leave it on Rochelle to decide,” says Keith. Rochelle, on the other hand, is busy with The Kapil Sharma Show and other commitments.

Keith says he couldn’t believe how shy Rochelle got when he proposed to her. “She was hiding behind the pillow and all that. I obviously know that girls get emotional about such things. It was a special moment for us,” he smiles.

He had plans of proposing to Rochelle either near the beach at the Andaman and Nicobar Islands or in snowy Himachal Pradesh, but things didn’t work out . That’s when Keith decided to propose to her on this Valentine’s Day in Mumbai.

“I am often asked about what is the one thing that Rochelle has given to me, and at the cost of sounding cheesy I would say it’s her heart. (Smiles) We are both in a real relationship, which is why we understand and balance each other well. While she is more emotional, I am more sorted in my head,” says Keith. The two started dating in 2015 before they participated in the reality show Bigg Boss.
