Congress blames BJP of mishandling the hijack episode

Congress party on Friday accused the main opposition BJP of treating militants with kids' gloves during their regime. Addressing an election rally at Sirsa in Haryana Rahul Gandhi, blamed the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party mishandling the Kandhar hijack incident in 1999 when they were in power. Meanwhile, addressing a rally at northwestern Udaipur, Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi targeted the BJP for what she termed as playing divisive politics.
