Addressing a news conference on March 1, agricultural minister Sharad Pawar hailed on Friday's federal budget while maintaining that special care should be given to rain-fed areas. Meanwhile, chief of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati also welcomed the budget for extending National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme to all the districts in the country.
