Rahul Gandhi: PM Modi should meet farmers in Punjab during his 'India visit'

Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, while attacking PM Narendra Modi in Parliament on Wednesday said, "The PM is visiting India, let him also visit Punjab and see the situation for himself." Rahul Gandhi has just come back from a tour of Punjab's grain markets where he met farmers distressed at the slow purchase of their produce. While in Chandigarh, he also made a swipe at Modi's 'Make in India' campaign and questioned the inclusion of farmers in this manufacturing push being made in the country.Gandhi's next visit is to Vidarbha in Maharsahtra, where many farmers have committed suicide. He will trek 15 km to highlight their plight.
