J&K: Army Captain, JCO killed in ‘accidental’ grenade explosion at LoC in Poonch

Two Army officers were killed in an accidental grenade blast in Jammu and Kashmir's Mendhar sector in Poonch district on Sunday night. According to Defence PRO Jammu, the blast occurred when the Indian army troops were performing their duties in Mendhar along the Line of Control. It resulted in injuries to Captain Anand and JCO Naib Subedar Bhagwan Singh. They were immediately evacuated by helicopter to Command Hospital in Udhampur but succumbed to injuries during treatment.
