HI election not to affect World Cup schedule: HI General Secretary

Addressing media persons in New Delhi on Monday, Narinder Batra, General Secretary of Hockey India (HI), said that the HI elections would have no bearing on the upcoming World Cup and the tournament will begin as scheduled. The elections to the HI were postponed after certain affiliated state associations objected to superseding the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF).
