Soccer player dies after collapsing on pitch

Lack of infrastructure and medical aid to football players at the grassroot level led to another death on the pitch. Twenty three year-old Mahesh Thapa died after colliding with the opposing team's goalkeeper, while playing a local tournament in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal.
