Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. The meeting comes as India hosts leaders of the expanded BRICS grouping and seeks to strengthen ties with key partners amid major geopolitical developments. Modi and Pezeshkian are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation as well as regional and global issues of mutual interest. The talks are among a series of high-level bilateral meetings taking place during the BRICS Summit, hosted by India as the chair of the grouping.
