Decades may have passed, but the love between 93 year-old World War II veteran Norwood Thomas and his wartime girlfriend, Joyce Morris, now 88 years-old, is clearly still burning strong. Thomas flew around the world from Virginia to be reunited with Morris after 70 years who now lives in Adelaide, Australia. Thomas was just 21 when he met 17-year-old Morris in London. When the war ended, Thomas returned to the U.S. He asked Morris to relocate to the United States to marry him but it was not meant to be.
