Charlie Kirk spokesman Andrew Kolvet has shared a photo of what appears to be a Starbucks cup on which a barista wrote a note honoring the slain Turning Point USA founder. “Someone got the Charlie order today, and the barista wrote this note in his honor,” Kolvet captioned the photo.
On the cup was written the words, “don’t lose your voice.”
Many X users commented on the post, with one writing, “No form of censorship should ever be tolerated, whether it hurts your feelings or offends a nation. True freedom means protecting all voices to build a stronger, more open society. Let’s defend free speech fiercely!” “Am I crying over a Starbucks cup? I think I might be,” wrote a user, while another said, “Sometimes the smallest notes carry the loudest reminders. A kind heart and a few words can keep courage alive.”
“The most amazing part is that it was written by a barista!” wrote a user, while another commented, “My barista would do that. We used to speak in code, but since Charlie’s death we have been more open.” One wrote, “Happy Birthday, Charlie! And YES, PLEASE don't lose your voice, Andrew! Thinking of you guys today!!”
Andrew Kolvet honors, defends Charlie Kirk
Kolvet has shared several posts honoring and defending Kirk after his tragic assassination by Tyler Robinson. He recently defended the decision by organizers of the Turning Point USA founder’s memorial service to display fireworks during the event. Kolvet shared one of the posts questioning the fireworks, writing, “Because our staff loves the effect. They see it as one of our event signatures. And most importantly, Charlie loved it. We do not grieve the way the world grieves. We refuse to let the evil that killed Charlie rob us of our joy in remembering his incredible life and legacy.”
Kolvet also blasted Jimmy Kimmel after his monologue that got him briefly suspended. Kolvet, who served as executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, took to X to weigh in on the situation after ABC pulled Kimmel off air indefinitely over his comments about Kirk.
“Something important that’s being missed with the Jimmy Kimmel saga…,” Kolvet wrote. “By spreading the vile lie that Charlie was assassinated by MAGA, the implicit message from Kimmel was clear: If you kill a conservative, we will cover for you. We will whitewash the murder because we don’t think conservatives deserve to live. Kill more. Assassinate more. We have your back.”
