ChatGPT is unavailable to thousands of users following a significant outage at OpenAI.

Users are encountering trouble using the ChatGPT and Sora apps, according to DownDetector reports from the US and the UK.

Outage complaints began to grow at about 9 AM ET and then began to decrease at about 11 AM ET, as per DownDetector.

After experiencing significant disruptions in January and late last year, ChatGPT and Sora have mostly remained rather stable.

The problems that occurred today lasted about three hours, and OpenAI noted them on its status page.

Meanwhile, several netizens reported the connectivity issues with the popular AI chatbot, with one X user writing: “ChatGPT is down 😭 wait I can’t breathe.”

“Is ChatGPT down during a 9-5 on a Monday??” another asked.

“Is ChatGPT down for everyone else or is it just me?” a third user inquired.
