Six people died in northeast China on Saturday when a cooking gas cylinder exploded, authorities said.

Six people died in northeast China on Saturday when a cooking gas cylinder exploded, authorities said.

The blast took place around 4.30am on the sixth floor of a residential building in Mudanjiang city of Heilongjiang province. Four others were injured, Xinhua reported.
