A tie-up between Harper-Collins and Mapin (known for its stunning art books) has brought us a delightful children’s books series, Hathi Chiti.

In In The Indian Night Sky (Rs 395), Jayme Robinson illustrates a folk tale by Reshma Sapre.

In colourful, eye-catching drawings, the story is a delight as it tells readers of Sun, Moon and Wind and their mother, Star of the North Sky.

Only one jarring note: page 4 is a ‘repeat’ of page 18 leaving a hiccup in the narrative. Hope the editors quickly correct that snafu.
