Kamran Ghulam

Kamran Ghulam, born on October 10, 1995, is a talented Pakistani cricketer known for his impressive batting skills and all-rounder abilities. He rose to prominence in the domestic circuit, particularly with his performances in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. In the 2020-21 season, Ghulam made history by becoming the first cricketer to score 1,000 runs in a single season of the tournament, showcasing his consistency and talent.

Ghulam's journey in cricket began at a young age, and he was part of Pakistan's squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was also Player of the Series in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup including a ton in the final against India. But before that in 2013, he hit a 53-ball century against England U19, which was the fastest in youth ODI back then. He made a name for himself in domestic cricket, playing for teams like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad United. His impressive performances earned him recognition, and he was named in Pakistan's Test squad for their series against South Africa in January 2021. Ghulam made his Test debut against England on October 15, 2024, scoring a century and becoming the 13th Pakistani player to achieve this feat.

In recent times, Ghulam has continued to impress with his batting prowess. He scored his maiden ODI century against Zimbabwe on November 28, 2024, anchoring Pakistan to a total of 303/6 and playing a pivotal role in their 99-run victory. He was also announced Player of the Match for his innings of 63 off 32 against South Africa on December 19, 2024, which led Pakistan to another series win.
