Assam Forest Recruitment 2023: SLPRB announces 2649 posts, check eligibility

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam has announced a mega recruitment drive for 2,649 posts in the Assam Forest department. Eligible and interested candidates can submit applications on slprbassam.in till February 6. No application fee is required to submit forms.

Here are more details about the vacancies:

1. Forester Grade 1: 264 posts
2. Forest Guard: 1,226 posts
3. AFPF Constable: 981 posts
4. Driver Constable: 36 posts
5. Driver under Forest Department: 142 posts.

For the Forester Grade 1 posts, candidates with a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent can apply.

For Forest Guard, Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification is required. For AFPF Constable posts, the minimum educational qualification is HSLC or Class 10 pass.

For Driver Constable and Driver under Forest Department posts, in addition to HSLC, candidates need to hold a valid LMV or MMV or HMV driving license.

The age limit for Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver posts is 18 to 40 years as on January 1, 2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on orafter 01.01.1983). For the posts of AFPF Constable & Driver Constable the upper age limit is 25 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates.
