CUET Result 2022 Live Updates: CUET UG Results declared at cuet.samarth.ac.in

NTA had reopened CUET UG 2022 correction window on September 13. Candidates can edit their personal details and change choices of preferred universities up to 10 am on September 15.

Delhi University has already started the UG admission process on the CSAS portal at admisison.uod.ac.in. After CUET result is out, the second phase of the admission process – choice filling – will begin. If candidates are unable to apply for DU admission because they did not select DU as their preferred university, they can do it during the ongoing correction window of CUET, which ends at 10 am. 

Result of  CUET UG 2022 will be processed based on final answer keys. No grievance with regard to final answer key(s) after declaration of result will be entertained. There will be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result.

“National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the CUET-UG results by September 15 or if possible, even a couple of days earlier. All participating universities may keep their web portals ready to start the UG admission process based on CUET-UG score,” UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar said last Friday.

CUET result 2022 date has been confirmed as September 15. There is no update on result time.

Result of Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate or CUET UG 2022 will be declared today, September 15. 

Candidates who have appeared in the CUET UG exams can check their results by visiting these websites: cuet.samarth.ac.in, ntaresults.nic.in and nta.ac.in 

Around 14 lakh students took the debut edition of CUET UG, which was held for undergraduate admissions at central universities and other participating institutions. Overall, 60% of the total registered candidates appeared in the exam.

Around 14 lakh students appeared in CUET UG 2022, which makes it the 2nd biggest entrance test in India after NEET UG. 

As per the CUET marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 5 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.

The final answer key of CUET UG 2022 has not been released yet. It will be released ahead of results on cuet.samarth.ac.in. 

Officials at NTA and UGC had said that CUET UG results will be announced within 10 days of the last exam date. Later, a senior official of NTA informed that CUET results got slightly delayed due to preparation of NEET result, and it will be announced on or before September 15. 

Among other things, candidates can edit the choices of their preferred universities during this correction window. For the ongoing DU admission process, many students have complained that they are not able to apply as they had not chosen DU as their preferred institute before. They can now modify their choices. 

Deepali, a government school student, said she was not allowed to register on the Delhi University admission portal on Tuesday. “I had not opted for DU while applying for CUET; I was hoping I could that when the university opens its registration process. NTA has issued another notification on how marks of the exam will be calculated. Since CUET is held for multiple subjects in multiple days and shifts, the agency has decided to use what it calls an ‘equipercentile method’ to normalise marks of candidates. 

During the ongoing window, candidates can edit personal details like name or mother's name or father's name, date of birth, gender, category, PwBD status and choice of universities.

“…some candidates have approached NTA requesting to allow them for correction in the particulars filled during online Application Form of CUET (UG) – 2022. In order to support them, it has been decided to provide another opportunity to make corrections in the particulars of their respective Application Forms of CUET (UG),” NTA said in a statement.

Ahead of CUET UG results, NTA has decided to reopen the application form correction window for a brief period. The facility will be available up to September 15 on cuet.samarth.ac.in.
