Designed to help students develop competencies such as self-awareness, teamwork and values, the Gandhi Fellowship is an opportunity for the young to turn leaders. The application process for the next Gandhi Fellowship begins this month.

The schedule for the two years includes daily peer reviews, expert reviews, field visits, etc.

The role of the fellows is to support the headmasters in school development plans, in addition to organising morning assemblies, executing mid-day meal schemes and mobilising community participation and collaboration, among others.

Each fellow receives an endowment of `14,000 per month with other benefits. The fellowship is open to any person who is appearing for the final year examinations of graduation or postgraduation across disciplines. The upper age limit is 25 years. Application forms will be available on from mid October. Applicants may contact zonal leaders for last date of submission.
