Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt wedding highlights: Festivities conclude, Neetu Kapoor says no plans of a reception

Actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has shared his good wishes for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. “All my blessings and good wishes are with Ranbir and Alia. Rishi's wishes are coming true,” he told Etimes.

As per latest reports, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will get married at 2pm at his house Vastu. The couple had a haldi ceremony in the morning and will tie the knot in the afternoon.

In an earlier interview with NDTV, when Alia was asked about Ranbir, she said that in her mind, she is already married to him. “He is right but, in my head, I am married to Ranbir, in fact, I am married to Ranbir in my head for a long time. Everything happens for a reason. Whenever we do get married it will work out right and in a beautiful way.”

Neetu Kapoor shared a post by a dance choreographer, who seemingly worked on the sangeet performance of the family.

Neetu took to Instagram to share a picture of her mehendi from Ranbir and Alia's wedding celebration. On her index finger, she got her late husband Rishi Kapoor's name written. Rishi died in 2020 after a two-year long battle with cancer.

Riddhima Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor interacted with the paparazzi after the first ceremony of the day. They appear to be back home after the haldi ceremony at Vastu. A yellow stain of turmeric paste could be seen on Riddhima's kurta.

The media and security guards are back at Vastu for careful and easy operations through the day.

Father of the bride Mahesh Bhatt was spotted outside his home on Thursday morning. He waved to the paparazzi before heading in.
