Poonam Pandey claims that she is flooded with Bollywood movie offers and item numbers, but only the ones that do not match her profile.

“I was getting roles with Ashmit Patel and Rahul Mahajan. Obviously, I couldn’t accept them as I only want to do films with A-listers. And there were countless offers to do item numbers in the South, which I turned down too. I was just being patient as I want to make a good start. I am not too desperate to jump into the fray.” she said.

Poonam shot to fame when she promised to shed clothes if Team India won the 2011 World Cup – a promise that never materialised, but gave the starlet enough publicity to become an online sensation.

Earlier, she also tweeted about signing a Hollywood film but did not reveal the details. “These are not false claims. I’m scared to come on record right now because the production house told me not to reveal anything. You will soon see me in a leading role.”
