Shahneel Gill, the sister of Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, is currently one of the contestants seen in The Traitors Season 2. She was ‘recruited’ as one of the traitors on the first day, which she accepted as well. The traitors are Krystle D'Souza, Kullu, Harman Singha and Shahneel. On the second day, it was Shahneel's idea to ‘murder’ the ‘innocent’ Soundous Moukafir.

In an exclusive interaction with HT, Soundous talked about the fairness of that decision, along with other eliminated contestants, Munawar Faruqui, Harman, and Karan Singh Magic.

Soundous said, “What made me feel bad is that there wasn't any valid reason for voting me out! The valid reason I believe is true is that I was eliminated because Shahneel Gill wouldn't let any other girl who is more entertaining, confident, and beautiful be there. So I was more of a personal threat to her rather than a game threat!”

Munawar, who was also present during the chat, started to giggle at her response. Soundous pointed him out and said not to smile, to which Munawar added, “She is such a smart girl, and I really respect her for putting across her point. We think twice before saying, wondering whether I should say it or not, but Soundous is so brave, and she always speaks her heart out.”

Munawar was the first contestant who was eliminated from the circle of shaq. Then there was Harman who was the first traitor to be correctly picked and eliminated on the show.

But the actor shares that he did not think much about his eviction. “A game is a game. I wanted to play longer of course but it is so much pressure to be a traitor honestly! Some people do it effortlessly, like I had seen in the first season. But I was someone whom you could tell by a look on the face! When I was cornered on the circle of shaq. I want to give a shoutout to Rhea Chakraborty and Kullu who really tried hard to protect me. We tried to divert the entire attention on Ranveer Brar,” he said.

Harman gives a shoutout to Parul Gulati

“Also credit goes where its due! Parul Gulati had somehow figured it out that I was the traitor! She went to so many people and made her case. The gang of innocents really woke up after they took out Munawar, and thought its time to see who is the traitor. Abhishek Malhan saved himself, and then Parul said she will shut Nish hair if I am not the traitor. This is not valid according to the rules of the game but that's okay I guess, we all bend the rules accordingly. It was a great moment when the last vote came down to her in the circle of shaq. But now I really want the traitors to do well!” he concluded with a smile.

New episodes of The Traitors Season 2 drops every Thursday on Amazon Prime Video.
