India woke up with shock and awe on Friday with a full-page advertisement of actor Pierce Brosnan, who played the legendary British spy James Bond in popular Hollywood movies, endorsing a pan masala brand.
The ad showed Brosnan holding a box of Pan Bahar with text below reading “Class never goes out of style” and a signature of the actor.
The ad went viral in a matter of hours, with Twitter having some fun at the expense of the actor and the brand. Here are a few examples:
