Centre in constant touch with M'rashtra Govt

A major attempt to attack the RSS headquarters was foiled when 3 terrorists were shot dead.

The Centre on Thursday said it is in constant touch with Maharashtra government in the wake of attempt by terrorists to attack RSS headquarters in Nagpur and measures to beef up security were being taken.

"The Home Ministry is in constant touch with the Maharashtra government following the attempt of attack on the RSS headquarters in Nagpur," a senior Ministry official said.

"All follow up measures are being taken," he said.

A major attempt to attack the RSS headquarters was foiled when three heavily-armed terrorists were shot dead in an encounter with the police while trying to enter the heavily-guarded premises in the wee hours on Thursday.
